poned of the most sanguinary revo?
lutionists-knaves and fanatics-and,
as a contemporary says, "left behind
it a record of the most ferocious sen?
timent." They are of the multitudes
of brutish and crazy men who would
drench all lands in blood to have
things conducted according to their
viev/s; not remembering that, even
if that were done, there would be as
many who, dissatisfied with the order
of ?nings thus established, would
drench the land again in blood to
abolish it. Southern Europe at the
present time is cursed with a horde
of these anarchists. .
The Savannah (Ga.) Republican
speaks of a colored orator who spoke
in that city a short time ago, and who
had eighteen reasons of reconstruc?
tion; bat although he talked three
boars, he only presented two of
th?m, and then stated that he might
have said more about those.
