The propoller ia a jet of water ono inch m area, forcced by the direct action steam without any engine. Three miles an hour was obtainod on the trial on the Surrey' Canal against n stiff breeze, %ith only a little com mon fire wood for fuel. With a good fire, the speed is expected to come to between four and five milas an hour I through still water. This little boat j is capable of a trip of 100 miles with one sack of coke.
