Aldermen Alexander, Fisher, Geiger,
Hujit, McKenzie, Radcliffe, Stork,
Walter and Weam
Couucil -proceeded to tho trial of
sundry persons charged with eelling
spirituous' liquors -without haviug
obtained a license.
Mrs. Alex. Reilly was charged with
selling spirituous liquors without a
license. Pleading . guilty to tho
charge, she was fiued $10 each in fivo
cases. Mrs. Clark was charged with
selling spirituous liquors without a
license. Pleading guilty to the charge,
she was fined $10 each in seven cases.
The trial of a number of other
persons charged with tho same of?
fence was continued until a futuro
meeting, on account of tho abseuco
"of important witnesses.
On motiou, Council adjourned.
