Beauregard is abroad in the interest

cordially, and-talked with him an
hour, principally about the new
tactics brought out in the American
war. On parting, the Emperor re?
quested him to call again, without
ceremony, and he would receive him
at once, for he wished further conver?

some notion of going to Austria, but I
