consequence of the demands of Austria,

in tho Elbe Duchies, and that Austria's
great move will be to siezo Silesia. Prus?
sia will probably commence the war, and
has already sent circulars to the neutral
powers, charging Austria with a flagrant
breach of treaties.
The Prussian army comprises 452 batta?
lions of infantry, 320 squadrons of cavalry,
and 1,086 field" pieces of artillery. The
Italian volunteers number 95,000. The
Austrian army now numbers 900,000, and
it is supposed 850,000 will operate against
Prussia, and 250,000 against Italy, exclusive
at reserves. It is reported that if Prussia
seizes Holstein, tho Austrians will cross
the frontier. Spain's forces have been aug?
mented to 85,000.
The London Times declares that al!
