to his dray.
-Mrs. Osterhollz, a while woman, was at?

impudent William gout. She was badly
frightened, and had her clothing torn In seve?

yesterday, morning, three negro men were

DARING THEFT.-About leven o'clock/yes
terday morning, an outrageous theft was per
a petrated In the auctlou house of Mr. William
McKay, on Wentworth street, near Klnji.
While Mr. McKay was busy in his office, ou
the west aide of the store, near the door, two
negro boya ran in and, seizing three pairs of
pants, made off before he could make a move?
ment to prevent them. The detectives are on
the trail, and will probably have ihe rogues in
custody before noon, to-day. From the de
Bcriptlon given by Mr. McKay of the boys
they are supposed tc be Robert Lloyd and
Massau Grant, two well-known adenia. Tne
boy Grant was recently bound over for trial
for robbing the till of a grocer, Mr. H. Puck
haber, about a week ago.
