THE RECEIPTS.-The arrivals at the cotton ports for tbe week up to Friday last were 73,702 bales, against 77,037 the week before and 126,935 for the period last j ear. At New Orleans the supplies were 35,635 bales, lu contrast with 65,649 the cor? responding time the year previous. The total re? ceipts at the cotton ports from September l, 1871, inp to the latea dates, were 2,254,388 bales, against 3.006,693 last yea', showing a decrease or '752,305 bales.
