THE RECEIPTS.-The arrivals at the cotton ports . for the work up to Friday last were 77,037 bales, ' against 88.966 the week berore and 136,661 for the period last year.- At New Orleans the supplies were87,515 balts, in contrast with 62,780 the cor? responding time the year previous. The total re? ceipts at the cotton ports from September i, 1871, ap to the latent dates, were 2,205,813 bales, against 2,863,770 last yea*, showing a decrease or 660,9?7 bales.
