TUB CHOPS.-The very wet weather whioh pre? vailed lately Interfered and delayed moca work which should have been done at this period, and an nnlavoi able leas of time has occurred m the proper preparation of the land. The streams have been swollen and the roads rendered Im? passable for hauling throughout this section. The week closed, however, cold and dry, and with a more sultaole atmosphere for outdoor labor. THB BBCKIPT?.-The supplies at the cotton ports for the week up to Friday last were 86,1286 bales, against 92.66S the week before, and 161,095 Tor the time last year. At New Orleans the arr.vals were 35,162 bales, In contrast with 67,663 last year.
