Dna Sm-It ia with much pleasure that I
write yon upon facts respecting myself. I ?o
not know hardly bow to express myself. I
have been for the last ten or twelve years the
greatest sufferer man could be and live, but
more sometimes than ethers. The complaint
was the "Kidneys" and "Bladder." I have
been sometimes from twelve to fourteen hours
and wanted to make water every minute, but
could not. Have consulted doctors both io
Massachusetts and this State, and taken pills,
I may say, by the quart, also liquored medi?
cines; but found no relief from any, and got
worse the last six months. I waa so that I
could scarcely get about. I could not rest
night or day. '.t would soon have been "all
up" with me if I had not seen your advertise?
ment in the Berkshire Courier, headed "Kid?
neys." I read it through, and thought I would
try it. I purchased a bottle; but, mind you, I
had not mncb faith in it. Why should I,
when I bad been trying so many th i J ga and
cost me BO much ? Well, before I bad taken
the first bottle I felt bad; but I finished it and
got another. By the lime I took half of the
second I still got worse (apparently.) When I
walked it seemed as if my right kidney was
falling from its place, and I made up my mind '
t was no uso trying any more. And all this
time the "Bncbu" was doing its work, but I
did not know it; so I gave it up, and went to i
Hartford, on Saturday, to one of tbe best doc
tore ia tbat city. He said, it was the neck of
the bladder, and I should have to undergo ?i!
operation. He gave me medicine, and I went
home quite down-hearted. On Sunday 1 was
unable to go to church. I had not taken of
his medicine, bnt on my return continued
using the "Bucha," and in the afternoon I had
a desire to make water, but conld not. About
one hour after thia I tried a?ain, with the
same result; bnt the next time I took the ves?
sel it was the same as turning a faucet and
stopping it off again. It wae so for three
times, and the third time there was some?
thing came through the passage and struck
against the side of the vessel. I examined il,
and it is the ugliest stone or gravel you ever
saw, covered over with little piecee which col?
lected together. It looks the color of a mud
turtle, and is as "uard as flint. So JOH see the
"Bucha"' was doing its work, although I was
feeling BO badly. I procured another bottle,
thinking there might be some more behind;
but since that has passed, which ie eight
weeks ago laet Sunday, I have been as well as
ever I was in my life. I have the stone secure*
ly wrapped, and those who have se^ u in this
place are surprised. I cannot tell yon all; bnt

need various medical preparations, and been
under the treatment of the moat eminent phy?
sicians, experiencing but little relief.
Having Boen your preparation extensively
advertised, I consulted my family physician in
regard to using your Extract Buohu.
I did this because I bad used all kinds of ad?
vertised remedies, and had found tbem worth?
less, and some quite injurious; ip fact, I dee
[ paired of ever getting well, and determined to
use no remedies hereafter unless I knew of the
ingredients. It was this that prompted meto
use your remedy. As you advertised that it
was composed of bu chu, cubebs and juniper
bernes, it occurred to me and my physician
as an excellent combination; and with bis ad?
vice, after an examination of the matter, and
consulting again with the druggist, I conclud?
ed to try it. I commenced to nae it shout
eight months ago, at which time 1 was con?
fined to my room.
From the first bottle I was astonished and
gratified at the beneficial effect, and after
using it three weeks was able to walk ont.
I felt much like writing to yon: a furl statement
of my oase at the time, but thought my im?
provement might be only temporary, and
therefore concluded to defer, and see if it
would effect a perfect cure, knowing that it
would be of greater- va^le to you and more
satisfactory to me.

riva 1 I ssw your advertisement in the Ledger,
and I determined to try it first, hiving a great
aversion to the operation. I purchased three
bottles, although at the time I had little faith
in medicine in my case, bnt boping it might
relieve my suffering. I soon found my pain
decrease, and felt mach more comfortable. I
then purchased one dozen bottles. I continued
to use it, and at the expiration of four weeks
I noticed a deposit in my chamber, sod upon
inspection I found this to be gritty, and theft
determined to examine more closely; and ta
my surprise I found this to be small particles,
larger than a pin's head. I continued to na*
the medicine, and have collected a few ot the
esme, which I enclose. I continued to pass
them until within three weeks. My water
previous to using it was feverish, and a sedi?
ment would form from it. Since that period
it is much ligoter; the parn bsa ceased, andi
am able to inform yon that it is now of ) natural
color, and I have no pain or inflammttion in any
part of my body, and can walk, ride, or rest
without any inconvenience.
I shall leave for home to-morrow, and ah aB
take a supply with me, as I intend using il for
some time, although I feel well now, and oas
candidly say that it has effected sr cure when
all other remedies and medical skin hare failed.

find and you to prepare auch an excellent
