EXPLANATION OF THE DISTRIBUTION.
Numbera rrom 1 to 10 OOO (the same numbers being on the Certiflcates) ire printed on separate
slips or paper, wnich are each eucircled in tubes, and a?e all placed in a Glass Baffle cylinder. The
roui hundred awards, lu accordance with the s?hedule above, are also?printed on separate aline pr
paper, and each ls encircled in a tube, and aliare then placed in another'Glass Cylinder'ailed the
Award Cylinder. The Cylinders are both revolved, and a number ls taken rrpm the Cylinder or
numbers by a boy blindfolded, and one of th? award* ls fatten from the Award c winder by a boy
likewise blindfolded, both of which areexhlbPed to the spectators, and Buch npmber wm be entitled
to the award; and this operation win be repeated until 40O numbers are taken rrom the Number
Cylinder and 400 Awi-.rds from the Award Cylinder to such u"rab?s. .
The Commissluners will enter down each number on their booka as taken from the Cylinder
numbers, and tte awards to each as taken from the Award cy tnder. _
The Raffle will takeniaceon ibeduyan.i commence at the hour named; there will be no poet
ponement whatever, and all the awards must be distributed.
