WILMINGTON, Auzust 3.-TURP?NTINB.-For
this article a steady demand for distillers' purpos?

(Thursday) however, there is some dullness, and
the price has a declining tendency, $? 75 for vir

stage of the water courses, and reach only 1319

SPIRITS TURPENTINE.-On Friday last the mar?
ket opened brisk, and th? price advanced 2 cents,
sales being made at 53 cents. On saturday it
ruled quiet and nothing wai done, but on Mon?
day one lot sold at the same figure. Since th n
the market has ruled quletnnder the advices from
abroad, and on Wednesday sales were made at
50 cents, being a decline of 3 cents-closing doll
at this price. To-dav (Thursday) the price ha9
further decUned, and the marget is quiet at 43
"ROSIN.-During the week just ended the market
for the lower grades hsa generaUy roled quiet at
about same prices, bpt at the close there is some
dHllness manifest, and buders are not disposed to
operate at last orice-$2 35 for strained. For the
medium quailUes no demand worthy of note haB
existed, and but small sales have been effected.
For the finer grades there has been a fair request,
and parcels when offered have generally found
sale. At present, however, there ls a scarcity of
veseis, and some difficulty ls experienced In ship?
ping,' which has caused buy era to hold off.
TAB-ls being brought lu slowly, and the mar?
ket rules'dull at a decline. Receipts Tor the week
are only 46? bbls, which sold at $2 75, $2 90a$3 per
