THE RECEIPTS.-The supplies at the cotton for the week up to Friday last were 82.4281 in contrast with 76,704 the week previous, 82,395 for the corresponding Urne last year New Orleans the arrivals were 24,678 bales, ag 28,719 last year. The total receipts at the o ports from September l, 1870, up to the latest dates, were 357,000, against 365,388 the pre year, showing a decrease of 8388 bales. The Inquiry has been only in a limited way, and was entirely confined to Carolina quali? ties, mostly of the medium and better grades, of which some 60 bag* have been sold daring the weet, among walch wera 1 at 60,1 at 62,18 at 66, -2 a?66, 6 at ss, o at 60,4 at 76,1 at 86. RICE.-The arrivals bave been moderate, and were about 14,000 bushels of Carolina rough for the week ; with more ample supplies, prices have show n au easier character. The transactions have been, a bout TOO tierces of clean Carolina, among which were 28 at 7 7-16; 71at7Ji; eat7 5;i6; 311 at 7X; 60 at 7X; 22 at 71-16;'85 at7; 79 at 6%; 16 at6X;28at6#; 15 at 6Kc ? ft. We quote com? mon to fair clean Carolina at 6@6>?; good 6#@ 7c 9 ?. NAVAL STORES.-The arrivals of these articles have been to a fair extent, and were about 1500 bbls for this period. The market has been quiet and transactions moderate. About soo obis spirits turpentine were resold at 37c 9 gallon; also, lim? ited lots of spirits at 38c. The following were sales of rosins : 6 bbls extra No 1 at $2 50 ; 95 ex? tra Ko 1 and 135 So l at $2 60 9 bbl] 17 low No 1 at $2; 36 low No 1 at $1 60; 10 do at $1 55; 15 No 2 at tl 40; soo Noa 2 and 3 at $14&9150 a bbl. HAY.-The arrivals nave been only in a limited way, and the transactions of a retail character. Coax.-The receipts of this grain are unimpor? tant. The demand ls light, and almost entirely local. Jobbing lots of good white may be quoted at $1 i5@i 20 9 bushel, weight, sacks included, and $1 io 9 bushel for common. OATS.-The market is fairly supplied with this grain, and demand limited. Sales have taken place at about 65c 9 bushel, weight, sacks in? cluded. FLOUR.-There is a good stock of most descrip? tions on the market, but the article has been dall of movement except at easier rates. We quote Northern and Western fine at $5 60 9 bb'.; super at $5 75@6 26 9 bbl; extra at $6 D0@7 9 bbl; fam? ily at $7 2S@8 9 bbl. Southern qualities are com? ing forward in good snpply, and super may be quoted at $6@6 50 9 bbl; extra at $6 76@7,26 9 bbl; family at $7 so@s 50 9 bbl, and choice and fancy at $9a9 50 9 bbl. BACON.-Prime qualities are in moderate stock, and clear rib sides are scarce. The market ls ? firm, and we quote prime smoked shoulders at l5X@i6c 9 ft: prime clear rib sides at 19c 9 .lb. Dry salted shoulders at i3#@i4c, and sides at ie J? @17C 9 ft. VEGETABLES.-Irish potatoes of the new crop are in fair supply, and may be quoted at $3a8 60 per bbl. Onions are in fair stock and sell at $4 60 @$5 9 barrel. S?GAB AND MOLASSES.-The stocks are light, but good to prime grocery sugars may be quoted ntllJi<?l2c $ ft.
