THE RECEHTS. - The arrivals at the cotton pores have continued to show considerable gains on last year, and were for thc week, up to Friday last, 42,493 bales, against 42,344 the week before, and 33.69S for the corresponding period last sea Bon. At New Orleans the receipts for the same same period were 19,726, lu contrast with 9741 the year before. The total supplies received at tho cotton ports from thc first of September last up to thc latest mail dates, were 2,435,114 bales, in contrast with 1.870,973 last year, showing an in? crease of 564.141 bales.
