Advices from Man? chester report that manufacturers, in view of thc decline ia cotton at Liverpool, are more disposed to meet buyers at the reduction they have hereto? fore demanded. Boat Ai Market. BOSTON, November 10.-COFFRE.-The market for coffee remalnB In the same quiet state previ viously noticed, and transactions have been con? fined to small lots. Java ranges from 22Ma23MC gold, In bags and pockets; and Rio at 15al7c per lb, gold. Prices or St. Domingo continue quite nomlnaL COTTON.-There has been a dull feeling for cot? ton throughout the week, and prices have eased off a little manufacturers purthaslng only in small lots. We quote ordinary at 24a24Mc; good ordinary at 26a25Kc; low middling at 25Ma26c middling at 2fla26Kc per lb, including uplands and Gulf. To arrive, sales have been made at some concessions from these figures, and thc market at the close is dull and tends downward. Our stock ls still quite reduced, as most of the receipts are on account of manufacturers. DOMESTICS.-Cotton goods are dull, and in wool? lens there ts no Improvement. Business docs not come up to expectations and the goods selling are at unsatisfactory prices. GUNNY BAOS.-The market ls quiet but firm for funny hags at lGMan.v currency. GUNN Y CLOTH.-This article ls dull and the sales save been confined to small lots at 20c currency; and 200 bales in bond et 7 Mc gold. Domestic ba; ging has been selling ut23Ma24 ft yard. HAT.-There have been further sales of Eastern and Northern at $lSa25 ft ton, as to quality, and ?.bolee lots at same advance. AUGUSTA, November 12.-3UOTTON.-The mar? ket opened firm with a lair demand at 22M to 23 sents for middling. The market continued firm throughout thc day, closing without change. Sales 709 bales; receipts 773 bales. Sales of the week 3532 bales; receipts of the week 4334 bales. Stock on hand 9734 bales. FLOUR.-City MlUs $0 75a$9; at retail $1 per barrel higher; country $7a$8 50, according to quality. CORN.-Market firm, stock light, and demand only moderate and prices tending upward. We quote white $1 36al 40 from prime from depot. WHEAT-Is very quiet. We quote white at $1 60 al 70; red $140al 60; amber $1 50al 55. Georgetown Market. GEORGETOWN*, November 10.-COTTON.-We quote from 33 to 25 cents per pound. CORN.-Full supply; small lots at retail bringing $1 40 to $1 50 per busbel. TIMBER.-No sales to report. We quote from 6 to IS cents, according to quality. TURPENTINE.-Virgin dip $2 75; yellow dip $2 75; scrape or hard $1 25 to $1 60 per bbl of 280 poonda to the bbl. SPIRITS TURPENTINE-Per gallon 4la42 cents. TAR-Per bbl, retail, $3. Savannah Market. * SAVANNAH, November H.-COTTON.-The mar? ket for the past week has been marked by a steady decline and considerable irregularity in prices, and lt has almost been an impossibility to give such quotations as would prove an exact Index to the condition of the market. The de? cline, which has been steady from day to day, is directly traceable to the decline In gold, of which the cotton of the South is the immediate repre? sentative, so that, while there appears to those uninitiated in the la*" of values an actual loss of value in the staple, there is really, taking gold as the basis, no positive fall in the price of cotton. The receipts at this port have been large during the past week, as also the exports, both foreign and coastwise, as will be seen by our weekiy ex? hibit. The condition of the crop, which, for all practi? cal estimates, has been gathered and housed, from all that wc can learn has not been as favor? able as was supposed, especially the crop of Georgia, aud advices from various sections of the cotton-growing region indicate a considerable falling off in the yield from what has been the generally received estimate. Holders, except in isolated cases, have shown a disposition to stiff views of prices, and are not over anxious to sell, and in the majority of cases bu; era have had to meet their views in order to place their orders. With the decline in freight foreign there has been presented a better margin for speculation, which has been taken advantage of, und the transactions exhibit a good week's operations. The market to-day closed quiet at Wednesday's quotations, with sales of 800 bales; Liverpool mid? dling 23\; low middling 23'4'; good ordinary 22'^ cents. SEA ISLAND.-Our remarks of last week will ap? ply to the week under review with reference to this grade of cotton. The sales or the week amounted to loo bales, at prices not varying rrom last quotations, operations being confined to small lots, holders generally being In no hury to sell at the prices offering. We quote: Common roller and McCarthy, 35a38; common 40a43; medium 45a 48; medium fine 50a55; fine 60; choice nominal. The receipts at this port slnce-November -ith amount to 20,149 bales of upland, and 795 bales of sea Island, of which 17,724 bales of upland were received per C. R. R., 2007 bales upland and 446 bales sea Island per A. and G. R. E., 411 bales of upland from landings on Savannah River, 7 bales upland and 2 bales sea island by wagon, 327 bales sea Island by Florida steamers, 14 bales from Beaufort, and 6 boles from Riceboro'. The ex ?jorts for the same time have been 19.385 bales up and and 108 bales sea island, of which 4651 bales upland and 54 bales sea Island were shipped to New York, 461 bales upland to Philadelphia, 403 bales upland to Baltimore, 990 bales upland to Bos? ton, 46 baies sea Island to Charleston. 11,362 bales upland and 8 bales sea island to Liverpool, 370 bales upland to Barcelona, Spain, and 1082 bales upland to Havre. . RICE.-The stock of new rice has been Increased during the mist week by arrivals at both mills, and operations have "been commenced, putting clean on the market in small lots, the market rulling dull, buyers on orders and local consum? ers holding off in anticipation of a further decline. The samples of rough sent to market have not yield? ed as much as was expected. There have been heavy arrivals, and thc market has been quite ac? tive during the past week. FREIGHTS.-In freights, owina to thc large arri? vals, both foreign and coastwise, prices have ruled dull during the past week without, however, any material change in quotations. Vessels are readily placed on foreign berths on arnval, but tor coastwise there ls little offering excepting by steam for Northern ports, which has and con? tinues to be active.
