OltOANIMATION OF A COLORED CONSERVATIVE CLUD.-Last night about thirty colored men as. scmblcd lu thc ball at thc corner of Unison and King streets for thc purpose of organizing a Con servativo club. Among those present wero W. R. Fordham, W. Cochran, W. O. Rout, M. Cochran, Aaron liai per, Isaac Taylor, Joshua Hague, John Thomas, Abraham cane, S. Middleton, W. Long, F. Matthcason" KifMhitlcr, Robt. Fields, 1). Brown, Aaron Harper was called to thc chair and Isaac Taylor appointed secretary. Thc rules for thc government of thc club were presented aud signed by all but three. A committee was appointed to nominate officers and report on next Monday night, to which time the club then adjourned. This organization should bc encouraged and supported by our citizens. There ts every pros pect of Its becoming a large and strong organiza tion. Wc wish these men every success.
