Mold Robbery.
The storehouse of G. S. Douglass, Esq., in
Cuiudeu, was entered on Tuesday night and
robbed by a party or parlies unknown, of dry
goods lo the amount nt two hundred and filly
or throe hundred dollars. The entrance was
effected by boring wilh an auger and lifting
up the bar which held the door.

The Chester standard says: ".T. T. Clark,
residing upon the plantation of Mr. Elijah D.
Walker, gathered one hundred bushels of
corn from two acres or Bandy River bottom.

Tournaments.
The tournament at Colon ville on the 20th
Instant was a success. More than thirty
knights' had enrolled themselves. Many fuir
ladles were present to cheer and encourage
their favorites. The spectators reached Hie
number of 1600?some said 2000. It was a crowd

Bertrand Du Guescliu (Muster Sam WlLsou)

Love and Beauty. The lies were, then run off,

winner of- the second prize, a silver cup, wilh
the right of crowning the lirst mnhl of honor.
The "Knight of Temperance" (Master Bony
Johnson) came In third, with tho right to
crown the. second maid of honor?
his material reward, a new and pretty
axe. "Chevalier Bavard" (Master James
Wilson) oldalned the next, prize, a hund
soino pockct-kullc, with n crown for tin*
third Maid or Honor. "Dnmioti DeLncy"
(Master Speight McLean) look the next prize,
a crown to bestow on lite fourth Maid of Honor.
The prizes were then awarded, und the suc
cessful knights bestowed their crowns on the
ladles or their choice. Miss Eula Lowry wus
crowned Queen, nml Misses Luna Jones, Ida
Boyd, Minnie Lowry and Ella Dlckersou,
crowned Maids of Honor.
