THE OPERA.-Notwithstanding tba rain, tbe
theatre ?ai woU d lc I last night, o o tho occasion of
tie performano of Der Froyshutz. The opera, in
most respects, was rendered TOOTH acceptably than
either Martin or Fra Diavolo. Tho solos of FrcJ
erici, in the second ac, were especidly well surg ;
and the chorus and orchestra throughout performed
tbex purls with admirable spirit and precision.
There will positively be but toreo more opera nights,
beginning to-ri-ht with Gounod's Faust.
