THTOSDAT, June 25, 1868.!
Money ls st in easy, and ls offered on first-class col?
laterals at even less than X per month. The amount
of stock business has been limited, but ail first-class
securities are firm with an advancing tendency. The
State of Georgia is now paying her July interest, and
this has caused a decided advance in Georgia bonds.
It will bc remembered that'the january interest wa
not paid, on account of a little unpleasantness be?

SXA ISLAND COTTON.- '1 he absence of stock and
the almost entire suspension of receipts prevent
transactions of any moment, and the only sales are
limited lota, which are sold at irregular prices. The
market consequently ia quito nominal, and will con?
tinue so until the new crop commences to c?me for?
ward, and afford material for more active operations.
The general reports from the new crop continue of a
favorable character.
BICE.-The market for thia article daring the
week bat been extremely flat and no transactions of
importance have transpired. Bayers were generally
holding off or offering lower rates, while factors
showed no disposition ta make Important conces?
sions. Purchasers were offering about 10c ty rb. for
good clean Carolina, while sellers were holding at
abcut 10?@10Xc. V fl). We omit quotations as
being somewhat non inaL

tinue in fair supply, and prices cf mixed may bb
quoted at about SI ?3@1 34 fi bushel weight, sacks
Included, by tbe car load from the depot, and SI 36
@1 26 ft bnsbel for white. In a few Instances ?ates
have taken place at concessions on these prices, but
they are perhaps exceptional and hardly quotable.
Some 3000 bushels of Baltimore white were sold to
arrive at $130 f! bushel, weight, sacks Included.
OATS-Are in light receipt and limited demand,
and we leam of no wholesale transactions..
?LOUE.- The contained favorable appearance of
the crop, and the consequent general expectation of
lower rates, canse a much caution on the part of buy?
ers, and they only pure ha so to meet immediate wan> ai
Tho general tendency of prices is to decline, and
most bolders are free sellers, even at moderate con?
cessions. It is difficult to give reliable rates, but
Northern and Western brands may be quoted nomi?
nal at S10 ft bbl. for super, SH fl bbl for extra, and
