The stock of cotton in Liverpool is estimated to-day
st 526,330 balea, against 833,070 bales lost year, thus
.showing a decrease Of 296,840 bales. There ore in
stock 341.340 bales American, against 455,480; 87,830

700; and 39,360 bales tast India descriptions, against

tity of cotton reported at aea for Great Britain is

five per cent higher for the rest lart year, "when
trade was paralyzed and confidence destroyed." Wc
again bad a very large import last week (132,630
balea), and yet we are in thia position : that whilst
our stock has only been Increased by 115,000 bales in
the last sis weeks, our known supplies have decreas?
ed to the extent of 136,000 bales in the same period.
What more need be said to prove either that prices
must still advance, or that abort time most become

mated, under the influence of better news from for?
eign markets, with the sale of near 40.000 boxea this
week upon the basis Nos ll and 12 at SIX to 4X per
100 lbs; some sales made at w?, No 12, but not
enough to justify advance of our quotations. With
the above protest I give brokera' views: Wbite3
through S5X to 7 per 100 lbs; yel'ows do, Nos 13 to
20, at $4 5-16 to i % do; browns, Noa ll and 12. at

we have but to note 60 bags Bio at 17J?c gold
COTTON-There waa a decidedly better feeling in
the market to-day. Liverpool advices per cable
quoted middling uplands 12Xd at the close, with
! sales for the day amounting to 13,000 bales. The
sales here amounted to 155 bales at 29 X. 80a30Xc
latter for middling. Holders were firm at the close
on the basis of SOXaSlc for middling upland.
FLO tra-Was rather firm to-day under a better in?
quiry; we only heard of sales of a few hundred bbls
low gracie spring wheat extras. ?
GBAXN-Receipts of aD kinds were extremely light
to-day; of wheat only 1130 bushels of both white and
red-the white sold as follows: 100 bushels choice
Maryland at S3 20; 100 do prime at S310; 100 do good
at $2 30; 475 bushels Western ot $2 85; 100 hussels
inferior ct $2 70-of red 100 bushels at $2 85, and 100

Pall River Print Cloth Market, May 14.
Manon CLOTH.-The market for the three days
past has been ' duh and quiet, with solea of some
6000 pieces 64x64. Prices have been very irregular,
ranging from 9a9Xc Gooda in first hands are still
firmly held, and 9Xa9Xc is asked. There are some
odd lots, however, in second hands which have been
offered in the market at lesa prices. Quotations en?
tirely nominal,
Boston Market.
BOSTON, May 15.-COFFEE-The market has been
3uiet and tho sales have been limited. We quote
iva at 23Xa24c, poid ; Bio 16817c; Et Domingo 9X'a
9Xe> gold, in bond. Mocha is exiling in small lots at
40c, currency.
. COTTON-The receipts this week favo been 1348
bales, of which 627 bales were from New Orleans. 450
from Baltimore, 88 bales from St Domingo, 29 by
Providence Railroad. The market has been very
dull through the week, and prices have declined X
to lc per lb, but at the close mere is more firmness
on account of favorable, advices from Europe.
Mann facturera and speculators bold off, and holders
are not anxious to sell. The Bales of the week have
been about 1000 bales; the stoat hore is 15,000 balea.
We quote ordinary at 27c, good ordinary 28c. low
middling 29xa30c, middling 31a31Xc good middhng
82a33c per lb.
GUNNY CLOTH-The market is quiet as the ex?

Sales of 200 bales, deliverable Juno 1, at 9Xe gold,

HAT-The market ia rather dull Salea of Eastern

MOLASSES-The market continues quiet. Small
sales of Cuba clayed at 46; 250 hhds Bagua at 54c per

less 2 per cent; 125 hhds Porto Rico at 64Xa72c ; 106

NAVAL STOBES.-The market for spirits turpentine
is dull Sales of 50 bbls at 59s60c, and subsequently
50 bbls at]62a63c per gallon. Tar ia firm and prices
are tending upward. Salea of 500 bbls on landing at
$4 25, now firm at $4 37X?4 60 per bbl Resin has
been quiet. Soles of 30 bbl? pale at $7 60 per bbL

claims consist of Bonds, Fire Loan Stock or Bank
Notes, due notice cf the application to make proof
shall be given to the patties to the Bill and Answers
m these proceedings or their solicitors. And in all
such cases where parties claiming shall bold or be
possessed of any securities given and accepted as se*
euri ty for the claims by bim or them made such
party or parties shall, on presentation of said claims,
make a statement of auch securities and their prob?
