were in light supply, but tho rates which were obtained for

HAY.-There has been received about 1300 ba es North
River descriptions, and a small quantity of Eastern. Wo
note sales cf acout 500 bales of North River at $1.50 9

CORN.-There continues to arrive moderate supphos
of Tennessee and Georgia white and mixed Corn. Wo
learn ot no important change during the week, the in?
quiry being almost confined to a local demand at rates
which have not varied materially from those prevailing
thc week before. We quote Georgia and Tennessee
mixed and while at $1.20? 1.25 9 bushel; now white
Maryland at $1.10@1.45 9 bushel, and old white Mary?
land at $1.50:^1.5.5 9 bushel, by weight, sacks included.
OATS-Are in light supply ind aro only in limited
request for local consumption. About 8:u bushels
changed hands at 90c. 9 bushel, bags included.
FLOUR.-There is a .air stoca of Northern and West?
ern brands, which soli at about $11.00 9 bbl. for Super;
$12.00@12.50 9 bbl. for Extra, and $13.00@14.00 9 bbl.
for Family. The stock of Southern is light and sells in
small quantities, say, for Super $12.00 9 bbl. ; Extra
$13.0u 9 bbl., and Family at $14.00 9 bbl.
BACON.-Thc demand continues of the most restrlct
character. and prices during tho week have had a lower
tendency. We quote : Prime Western Shoulders at 13
cents 9 ft.; Prime Western Ribbed Sides at 14@14%
cents, and Prims Western Clear Ribbed Sides at li ,V@13
centa fi ft. There ls some inquiry for second-class meat,

to-day amounted tu 3300 bales at prices ?bowing a pretty

Thc market opeucd inanimate aud drooping, with less
eagerness on the pi.rt of buyers, who generally came for?

unwilling to make any material conc-'ssions, but ata
later hour, particularly utter the nows of a decliue of
