Mayor's Court, April 23.?Henry Taylor, u
youth connected wilh tho club mentioned yester
day, who indulge in tho "grub gamo," was ar
raigned and convicted, on tho testimony of u lady,
who stated that she was going up King street on
Monday afternoon, and that seeing this boy np
pvoaebing her she made way for him, so that lio
might take tho inside, and, as he catno abreast of
hi r, he snatched her purso from her hand, con

A woman, who was dressed in so many frocks

going to emigrate to Mr. Hewautj's lato purchase
from Russin, was fined til) for being drunk, and
misbehaving in Elliot! Street.
A shaky chimney in the burnt district was re
ported, and ordered to bo attended to.
