.thefollowing report ol tho market: On Friday, the 3d
-inst., in consequence of tho extreme viows of holders,
?hero woro no eaton. On Saturday tho transactions ex
tended to about 70 bales, at 29 to 30o. for Good Ordina
ry, and 32o. for Low Middling. On Monday a flat Liver
pool market waa reported by Atlantic Cable, whloh
?depressed prices, at d only 60 bales were sold to ono
.buyer, at 36o. for Middling, and 31c. for Low. Middling
?Cotton. On luoaday ind Wednesday the market was
completely at a stand, the declining condition of the
Liverpool and New York markots having caused buyers

0OBN.-The arrivals nineo our last report are about
-9,000 bushels. The large transactions have been con
-Dod to Western. 7600 bushels of mixed waa sold on
private forms, and 6000 bushels wbite Western, in bulk,
at $190 per bushel, weight. There has been no large
operations In Maryland white, but the jobbing demand
keeps tho stock well down. We would quote this last
.quality at II 40 to $1 42 por bushel, weight, with bags.
This price could, however, only be obtained for a prime
.artiole.
OATS -The receipts of the week have been quite
llmltod, but as there is but little demand, the market is
amply stooked for present want-. Thom has been no
largo sales, a., ii the transactions are confined to the re
tail trade.
FLOUR.-The market continues to bo fully supplied
with Northern and Western brands, which are selling
at about previous rates, Bay $8 25 for fine, $0 to $0.60
per bbl. for supor, and $10 to $11 for extra. Baltimore
extra Is nell lug at about $14 per bbl We aro pleased to
nota that some Arrivals of Ocorgla Flour bas ta- ou place
during the week. This has mainly come from the
"Excelsior Mi lu" at Augusta and the "Olly Mills" or
Atlanta. Extra Flour of this description Is soiling at
$16.60 to $10 per bbl.
BACON.- There is a good supply on tho markot, whloh
la meeting with a tolerablo demand at 1C to 17 cents por
lb. for common,. 17 to l8 cento for good, and 185. to ! 0
cents per lu. for primo J-Uouldors, Prime ribbed Sidos
are soiling at 21 cent- pee lb. and clear ribbed at.22 cents
per lb. for primo meat.
SALT,-There continues to be a fair demand for this
