SDOAB AND MOLASSES. -The receipts from tho coast
since yesterday comprise 40 hhd? Sugar, no Molasses,
i There has beena bettor inquiry to-day, and at firmer
prices. The supply of Louisiana Sugar is quite limited,
? and there la no Louisiana Molasses on the market,while
the foreign production ls plenty, especially that of the
' 1 common grades, but the demand ie of the most limited
character. Sales include 64 hhds of yellow clarified
and white at 15>?o for yellow and 16o $ m for white,
and 10 hhds. Louisiana fair at 18>?o ? R). There has
' bten no movement whatever in Molasses, although
there was some little inquiry noticeable. It is offering
at 48@55c for ordinary to prime Porto Rico.
FE EIGHTS.-Tho demand for all. points is of a very re?
stricted character, and rates cannot be reported as much
better than nominal. Steamers when placed on the
berth have a fixed quotation, but when the day of de?
parture arrives avd space is stjil vacant, terms are made
frequently ,. _

freight with which to fill up. The prices given to-day

and Pennsylvania, at prices much lower than State.
Our dairymen are holding for higher price*, while the
bulk on the market ls Western. Our quotations are

SUGABS are in request and steady. Sales since our
last, 1140 hhds Onba, Ac, at from 10% to 13o, and 280
boxes Havana, part at 11% to 12%o per lb. Beaned
sugars are in good request at 14 ?? to 17o per lb.
TALLOW-Sales 85,000 lbs at 11% to 12%o; and 86,000
lbs grease at ll to 13o per lb.
WHISKEY baa been quiet, 2 26 to $2 27 per gallon.
FBEIOHTB have been inaotive. For Liverpool the en?
gagements included 200 tons mahogany at 16s per ton ;
and by steamer, 100 bales cotton at 3-16d per lo. For
