South Carolina Railroad.? By a dispatch to
the General BupWintondont of this Road (Mr. H.
T. Peake), we learn that the bridgo over the
Congarco River wan completed at twenty minutes
of five o'clock on Thursday last. There are now
only o few gaps to be repaired on the road, when
full communication will be had with Columbia.

expecting a third vessel, which will bo placed i?n
the berth to load for Liverpool as soon as sho ai
xives. They in lend to keep up a lino from tk??,
port to the great English cotton mart.
Omnidus Line.?Wo takd great pleasure in an
nouncing to the public generally that an Omnibus
Line will ho placed upon our streets at once, by
Messrs. LoniN? tc Co., proprietors of the Mer
chants' Hotel.
This accommodation is greatly needed by the
citizens of onr city, and we trust will bo fully huh
tainc?*,. The Line will commence running on Mon
day next, September 4th, aud will ho callad tho
King and Meeting-street Line. It will commence
on King at Spring-street, run down King to Hascl,
down Hascl to Meeting-street, and down Meeting
atrcot to the Battery. Fur the prcseut thoy will
run each way every half hour.
