The cuttiug of thc cake was an enjoyable feature to those who were privilgcd to anticipate, but before the oak?- ha?! gone half way around tim tabb-, the Ihimbl" and ring were both out out. Tho saddest feature of the night was bidding adieu to Miss Anna, who was enjoying her last party in good ?dd South Carolina, before taking her departure for Alabama, where she goes to spend two or three months willi her sister. \\ ?. luipi- she will show the Alabama folks how to have a pound party anti how t?> enjoy themselves.
