Yours truly,
LESSER & CO.,
UNDER MASONIC TBMPLE.
We are Still
After Business,
Yet we confeos that we scarcely know what to say.
This space costs us money, and we want to make it bring us
in the best returns possible. By stating facts, nothing but
facts, so that every word in this space will carry great
weight, we want the reputation of living right up to our
advertisement.
We don't know whether we sell more goods than any
other firm in the up-country or not. That doesn't concern us.
We do know we have a tremendous Stock of Goods that
must be sold. We do know that they have been selected
with greatest care and judgment. Bought as low as money
can buy them. We believe we know our business ; we think
our experience has taught us what the people want in this
section. We know, further, that we are selling more Goods
to-day than usual at this season of the year. We have the
?"data by which we can judge this. Our sales-force say if we
will get the people in the Store our Goods will go, as they
are selling Goods with greater ease than in the history of
our'business. There must be great force in this fact. We
know that we never sold Goods in every Department at as
short profits as now. That and our beautiful selections and
great values account for increased sales.
To make this a hustling, stirring business this Fall we
expect to stretch every nerve and put forth our utmost
energy, offer every inducement we have at our command.
We are pleasing more people to-day than wo have ever
done-our success very gratifying in this respect. For a
pleased and satisfied customer is the greatest investment a
business house can have. All this we say in all good con
science.
By an error on our part we doubled up on our usual
quantity of Wool Blankets. Double hustling must be the
result. All wool, honest Southern-made Blankets, 10-4,
$2.95, former price $3.30. 11-4, $3.95, former price $4.50.
12-4, $4.95, former price $5.50. Honestly made, and will give |
you great satisfaction.
