Tho very interesting program was well carried out, end the exercises wore both pleasing and Instructive. At the close of the exercises the Superinten dent annouueed that a pic nia would be given to the children of the Sunday School at Cooley's Bridge on next Friday, the Pith inst. All necessary committees bave been appointed and arrangements made, and there is no reason why a pleasant day should not bo spent. Miss-Brown, ot Anderson, is vis iting the Misses Breaz-ale. Prof. J. Glorious rains have desended during the past week in these parts, which have revived up our crop* very much, and everything Is in a growing state. The majority of our farmers will get through work this week, and then we can take our much needed rest. Rev. O. J. Copeland preached for Rev. 1>. W. Hlott at Barker's Creek last Sun day.
