SEC. 2. Tho Board of Directora Bball havo power to fill vacancies in any of tho offices or the Association which occur from death, resignation or other cause for t!?e rematador of tho term, and shall adopt all such rules and regulation)) as may bo necessary for tho efficient conduct of tho Association, not in courbet with tho Constitution and By-haws. LOANS. ABTICLE 5.-SECTION J,. Every stock holder not in arrenrs shall be entitled to receive a loon of Two Huadrod Dollars for oach share of ntock held by him lu this Association, lesa tho premium bid. SEO. 2. Loans shall bo granted to such stockholders as ?ball otter or bid the highert premium thorofor, and shall bo madu only for tho duration ofUho Asso ciation. SEC. 3. Tho premium ?hall at no time bo loss than (|10) Ton Dollars on evory loan of Ono Hundred Dollars. In caso thu funds of tho Association should not bo loaned to members, as provided in this section, and shall remain unproduc tive for two months, thou tho samo shall bo invested in rea) ostate, Culled states Bonds, or othorwiso, as a majority of tba Board of Directora may direct ; but no loans shall bo made to a peraou not a stockholder, upon a socurlty in any way inferior to that ox acted from ita members. Tho rate of interest ou such loaus shall be fixed by tho Directors. SEC. 1. Al! loans except as provided in the last clause, (Soc. 3, Article 5.) shall bo charged with intercut at tho rato of one half por cont, por month, counting each Bharo at tho full value of Two Hundred Dollars, said interest to bo paid on the last Saturday of evory month. Tho payment of all loana aimil be secured by note and mortgage of unencumbered real estate, situated in Anderson County, un dorsuoh regulations ua may be prescribed by the By-Laws or fixed by tho Board of Directum, and when there are buildings on said real catato the same are to bo in sured, in such company and in suoh sum as may ba approved by the Board of Directors, aud to bo kept insured during tho duration of the Association ati bia or her oxponse, and Poliolea assigned ; Sud should tho borrow er fail to comply with thOBo requirements, it shall be the duty, of tho Treasurer to take out or renew the' insurance, and tho Association shall lm? mediately proceed to foreclose, the mort gage ; and in addition to this security there shall be asslgnod one share of stock of tblB Association, for each loan of Two Hundred Dollars, aa collateral security. If any member having received a roan shall fall to pay hla or her month- | ly dues for sixty days, tho Directors shall compel payment by the salo of tho mortgaged property or other aeeurities, the proceeds to bo applied to tho discharge of all encumbrances Upon tho property pledged, together with tho debt and inter est, dues, linen and arrearages of auch stockholder, and also all coat and the feo fixed for the Solicitor in such cas?e. Tho Hoard shall dischargo all tho financial business nf tho Association, and shall havo tho right to hold special or extra meetings as often ns necessary. SKC. 4. Tho duties of the Solicitor shall bo to examino tho titles to all property ottered as security to tho Association, and to tile with tho President a written opin ion thereon. Ho shall prepare all bonds, deeds, mortgagos and othor papers given or taken hy the Association, and attend to nil tho othor legal business thereof, and shall recolvo for his services such compensation, and ho paid therefor aa tho Hoard of Directors muy determino upon.
