ley Railroail.
At a meeting (if tho Board of Directora uf
the above Itond at this place yesterday, res
olutions were adopted remitting all OMS
and penalties on tho delinquent taxes, pro
vided they are paid during *hc collection of
the Muy taxes, or during the collection of
the second installment o? the State taxes
with the usual penalty of live per cent.
This nction was taken in view of thu
withdrawal of the opposition to thc collec
tion of said taxe*.
Tho Board also directed the Secretary to
advertise for proposals for the grading of
the remainder of the Road. The advertise
ment will np|K?ar in this paper next week.
