Last year the public money per capita
which we received was so small that no
credit was entered upon tho accounts of |
patrons. Lost sorno misunderstanding
might arise, we explain : Having reduced
the tuition more than the amount of public
morey to which each patron was entitled,
wc thought lt fair and right, and that it
would save trouble, not to give ?redit there
for. The amount per capita was $1.663. If
any ono will recall tuition chargea for 1877
it will be seen that reductions have in every
case been for .more than this. Hereafter,
however, that none may complain, wo will
make full charges and give full credit Cor all
public moneys received.
We hope to get more money from public
fund this year. All wo need now ls krgo
and liberal patronage. And wc bespeak for

A ?cutio Hint.
In our style of climate, with its sudden
changes of temperature-rain, wind and
mnshino often intermingling in a single
lay-it i? no wonder that our children,
friends and relatives are so frequently taken
From us by neglected colds, half the deaths
resulting directly fionl this cause. A bottle
Df Boschee's German 8yrup kept about your
borne for immediate use will prevent serious
iickuess, a largo doctor's bill, and perhaps
leith, by thc uso of three or four doses.
For curing Consumption, Hemorrhages,
Pneumonia, Severe Couglis, Croup or any
iiscaso of the Throat or Lungs, its success
is simply wondered, os your druggist will
tell you. GerniL.. Syrup is now sold in
svery town and village on thfs continent.
Sample bottles for trial, 10c., regular size, 75c.
A Very Good.Reason.
The reason why only one sample bottle of
MEBBXLL'S HEPATINE for the Liver will be
mid to the same person, for ten cents, by
jur Druggists, Simpson, Reid &, Co., is be
cause of the enormous expenso of import
ing the Hepatine into this country ; but as
there are fifty doses in the large" size bottles,
lt seems two cents per dose is cheap enough
?ftcr all for a medicine that cures dyspepsia
ind liver complaint. AH who have not
had a sample bottle aro entitled to one for
on oiu_ aV Simpson Reid & Cc.'s Drug

pepsia, constipation, indigestion or live?
complaint, in thc world. Regular size bot
