"Make Hay while the Sun Shines."?So much has been said, from time to time, about clover and the grasses, as well as other forage plants, and the folly of importing hay from Maine, or from Massachusetts, that it may seem unnecessary to even mention the subject at this time; but we have long since learned the value of repetition. One blow may seem to have no effect, but a succession of them on tbe same point will tell at last?so we shall continue to talk of hay. Make crab-grass hay, if you can do no better, though we do not believe it io be so good, by any means, as a fair quality of Timothy, Red Top, or Bermuda, but if cut at the proper time, and properly cured, it is bet? ter than the greater part of that brought here from the North ; many Northern dealers seem? ing to count upon our supposed ignorance in regard to hay, as a cloak for their rascality.
