AN ORDINANCE TO RAISE. SUPPLIES FOR THE ^?WlSf. pi? ANDERSON, For the Year Ending Slst Dec., 1874. That is to say? ON REAL ESTATE. Section 1.. Fifteen Cents on every hundred dollars worth of Real Estate, other than the Anderson. High School and Greeley Institute, foi^foepNiip'ose of paying the expenses x>t the government of the Town, and Fifteen Cents on one hundred dollars-worth Real Estate for the purpose of paying notes outstanding for re-, wards and Railroad expenses. The corn grew off as fast as any I ever had. My cotton was fine. I used Etiwan Guano in the same field, and the cotton manu rod with Black's Improved Fer? tilizer was fully equal in every respect to that manured with the Etiwan. The cotton manured with the Fertilizer opened sooner than the other. Some of my neighbors examined my crop, and said the Fertilizer beats the Guano' but I am sure it was fully equal. JOHN MARTIN.
