TO CONTMCTOES!
THE Commissioners appointed by the Convention
to select and locate a new County Site for Picken s
County, will receive SEALED BIDS until the 10th
day of June next, for the taking down of tim
present Court House and Jail, aud removing the
same to the new location, and rebuilding the same.
The distance which the buildings will have to
. be hauled is fourteen milos; the work will be re?
quired to be done by good mechanics, Mild in a
good and workmanlike manner, and under the
same plan as the wooden building now stands ;
tho brick work will no*, be rou u ired.
Bids wQl be received for any part of the work.
The contractor will be required to give bond
and surety for the faithful performance of Gio
Work, and the same to be commenced at in early
day. Parties desirous of contracting are request?
ed to crimine the buildings, before bidding.
