cotton of the crop of 1906 ginned to
Dec. 1, to have been 10,025,445 bales
counting round bales as^half bales.
The total number of ginneries in oper
ation is given as 28,211.
This is comparrd with the figures of
1905, when the report showed 8,686,663
bales ginned and 28,609 active ginner
ies.
