insurance In Full Force from the date
of the medical examination, provided
the examination shows that the applicant
is insurable. On October 0. 191$,
Mr. (5. J. Hertulon of Ernhardt. S. C?
wrote the application of Mr. Walter S.
Crosby of islandton, S. U.. for $3,500
insurance and Mr. Crosby paid the
premium on that date and was given
u binding receipt. Owing to the influenza
epidemic the company's examiner

19th. on tho 20th Mr. Crosby was
taken ill and died on the 24th. The
examination showed that he was an
acceptable risk on the 19th. and just
so soon as proofs of loss are furnished
