LAND SALE.
1.200 Acre Farm, Situated Two Miles
From Lugoff and Six Miles From
Camden, at $11.00 Per Acre.
THIS is the cheapest farm in South
Carolina. 300 acres in cultivation
this year. Averaged a bale of cotton
* *' o nrrk rvn loeornt< no vt rv f 51 OAft
cleared and ready for cultivation next
year. Balance of place in timber and
woods. Will have next year 400 acres
in one level field, which will make a
bale of cotton per acre. Land level,
sandy loam with clay subsoil: 95 per
cent of place can be cultivated. Good
stream runs through the place. Two
nice 5-room cottages, large gin house,
two large barns. 13 tenant houses and
ten other outbuildings, all built from
the best long-leaf lumber within last
three years. The buildings alone cost
$3,500. Location as healthy as any
place in the state. Place well supplied
with best of labor. Will rent for 30
bales of cotton; 400 acres of this land
in one field is worth $50 per acre and
the balance is well worth $12. A congressman
from this state, in passing
this place, remarked that it was worth
$50 per acre and would bring that if
it were in his county. This is the opportunity
for some one to buy a splendid
farm very cheap. Church and
school convenient. I am sure that any
one wanting to buy a farm would not
hesitate after seeing the place and location.
Good hard road to Camden and
Lugoff. Seaboard Air Line R. R. is
eastern boundary for two-thirds of
mile. If not interested hand to some
one that may be.

IT 15 FACTS
THAT COUNT
On numerous occasions you have
read the assertion in these columns
over my signature that the Mutual
Benefit Life Insurance Company was
the Best life insurance company in the
world, that it issued the Best and most
liberal policies of any company and
that by reason of its conservative, economical
management the cost to the
policy holder was less than in any
other company. These statements were
and are made by me because I know
them all to be facts. It would require
too much space to give a detailed description
of a Mutual Benefit policy
and you would probably not read it if
it was given, therefore I'll not undertake
it. but will give you a comparison
that should cause you to see the light.
It is a fact that the bulk of the old line
life insurance in force in this section is
in the Equitable. Mutual Benefit. N. Y.
Life. Mutual Life of X. Y.. the Aetna
and the Penn Mutual, all recognized
everywhere as being good, strong and
. ?-? * ?"?O M i AO - I'OO/lt' ti?i 111 n or o n/1

anxious to carry out their contracts to
the letter, but there is a difference in
the contracts. Some are more liberal
than others and the Mutual Benefit
Guarantees more for the money paid
than any. The most popular form of
life insurance for men under 40 years
of age is what is known as the 20 pay
life plan. All these companies issue
that kind. For each $1000 insurance at
age 35 the Equitable. X. Y. Life and
Mutual Life, the three largest companies
in the world, charge $33.34 annually.
The Mutual Renefit $36.22. the
Aetna $37.33 and the Penn Mutual $37.25.
The guaranteed cash surrender value
at the end ?f 20 years on each $1000
insurance is $609 in each of the X. Y.
companies and the Mutual Benefit,
while in the Aetna and Penn Mutual it
is $613. The Mutual Benefit will issue
the same policv with the same guarantted
values and guaranteed to be paid
up in nineteen years for $37.35 a year,
'fhe premiums of all the companies
named are to be reduced bv annual
dividends and the past record of the
Mutual Benefit shows that It pays
larger dividends than the others. If the
best insurance at the least guaranteed
cost is what you want, you will be sure
to see me and ask for further information.

Lost! Lost!
Some people lose so many opportunities
it is a wonder they never find
the habit so fixed as to lose themselves.
A great many would fail to
recognize an opportunity if met on
the public highway. There is a chance
for the shrewd man to profit in buying
stocks, bonds or real estate at present
prices.
