A PARALLEL CASEAbout 16 years ago I commenced advertising improved agricultural implements in The Enquirer. I did not content myself with saying simply that I offered a certain implement, machine or tool, but went into details as to how and why it would pay the farmers to use them. That was the day of the bull tongue plow and goose neck hoe, now happily for the farmer almost a thing of the past. There were hundreds of farmers who were skeptical as to the logic I employed. I make the statement because I, as well as everybody who knows the details of the business, know it is true. There are dozens of men who have ignored my claims and insured in other companies because, perchance the agent was a special friend or for some other reason than that they KNEW they were getting the best company and best policy, who have repented.
