Letter to W. P. Harrison,
Yorkville S C.
Dear Sir: Three gallons saved is $12
to $15 earned.
Mr Hanlord Piatt of Bridgeport,
Conn, ordered 15 gallons Devoe to
paint his house, and returned 3 gallons.
His painter said it would take
15: a lead-and-oil painter.
Hubbell & Wade Co sold it. They
say everybody has the same experience
there.
The reason is, of course: they are
used to poor paint.
What is poor paint? Anything not
Devoe: some worse than others.
Besides, paints wear about as they
cover. Double the $12 to $15.
23 Yours truly
F W Devoe & Co,

That we only live one day at a time?
That only one man In five can get
old line Insurance, and while you may
be one of the five who can get It this
week, you may be one of the four who
can't get it next week?
That your breath and liabilities don't
end at the same time?
That a Life Insurance Policy Is a

That neighborly sympathy for the
widow and children Is good; but the
Mutual Benefit's draft Is better?
That the most worthless assets ever
found In any man's estate are his good
intentions?
That you don't mean that you wUl
take the chances, but that you wllj let
your family do so?
That you may be one of the 97 out
of every 100 who make a failure In
life?
That it takes a cyclone to lift the

happens that it takes a Life
Insurance Policy to lift the mortgage?
That I have been proclaiming in these

the Mutual Benefit Life Insurance
