Another Car Load.
We have received another car load of Acid
? Phosphate and Guano for the wheat sowers.
These goods are cash in every instance.
John C. Kuykbndal.
Quick Settlement.
Every person to whom we sold goods on time
this year are hereby notified that their accounts
are due Vigbt now. We can't wait, as we have
done heretofore, until the 1st of January, before
making collections. We are going at it at once.
Every one owing us will receive a personal call
or a notice of the amount due us with the request
for immediate settlement. We mean all we say
and shall insist on settlement in every case.
John 0. Kuykbndal.
A Nice Lot of Lamps.
We have a large and nice lot of lamps and
lamp goods that have to be sold. If we can't
get a reasonable profit on them, we will take
less. We can now sell you a lamp burner that
formerly sold for 10 cents, for five cents; one
that sold and sells yet for 15 cents, for 10 cents;
one that still sells elsewhere for 25 cents, we will
only charge you 15 cents for it. This is the way
lamps and lamp fixtures are going at the York
Drug Store.
We Still Lead in Tobacco.
We have, doubtless, the best Tobacco trade in
the town. We say it without egotism that we are
a judge of the manufactured article, buy it at
close figures, and are thus enabled to give the
customer the choicest chew for the least money.
We cifer it from 17 cents a pound up.
An Important Paragraph.
Sick headache and a sensation of oppression
and dullness in the head are very commonly
produced by a disordered state and irregular
action of the liver. Morbid despondency,
irritating and over-sensitiveness of tno nerves
may, in a majority of cases, be traced to the same
cause. A course of I)r. Jackson's Liver Pills,
taken according to the plain directions in the
box, will positively cure all such conditions of
the system.
Not Safe Without It.
The season of the year is upon us when
coughs, colds and pneumonia are contracted,
and bronchial and other throat and lung troubles
are oireravated. In all such eases use Camp
bell's Cough Cure. No family should be without
a bottle always in reach. It has a larger
home demand than any other medicine ever
offered.
When Baby was sick, we gave her Castoria.
When she was a Child, she cried for Castoria
When she became Miss, she clung to Castoria
When she had Children, she gave them Castoria
We Expect to Continue Indefinitely.
"I want a Sewing Machine. Arc you still selling
them? I have not noticed them advertised
in Thk Enqcirkh in a week or two."
"Yes, sir, we arc still selling them and expect
to continue indefinitely. We sell as good machines
as are made, and cveryono of them is
guaranteed for TEN years; and if not found to be
as represented after a test of TWENTY days in
your home, any machine sold by us will be taken
back and every cent you paid will be refunded.
Can anybody do any letter?"
"No, that is as fair an offer as anyl>ody could
make. I.want to buy a good machine for the
least passible money. These traveling agents
have been pestering me all summer, but I won't
pay their prices for a machine. I am not able."
"Well, sir, we can furnish you with a machine
that will give you entire satisfaction, and wo
know that our prices can't be touched. Here is
our illustrated Sewing Machine circular. There
is a machine for $I<>, there another for $18, there
another for $20, here another for$22.50, and there

"All right, sir; I will take these circulars home
with me, decide which machine I want, and let
you know."
The foregoing conversation took place in the
business otlice in Tick Enquirer building a
few days ago, and is printed for the benefit of
everybody who needs a good, first-class, thorougly
reliable light running Sewing Machine at
abont factory prices, with extravagant agent's
commissions left off. Of course we know that
there are some people who prefer to buy a Sewing
Machine at a big price simply because they
have been used to seeing them sold that way,
and have been educated to imagine that the high
price charged adds to the merit of the machine.
We have 110 fault to find with them. That is
their privilege. We invite those who do not
want to pay extravagant prices to call or send
for our illustrated circular. L. M. Grist.

"SOMETHING ELSE."
FOR several weeks past we have been considerably
interested in the Shingle business,
and have been able to furnish our friends
with a first-class article in this line at a lower
price than ever before known in this section;
in fact we have been charged with selling
"below cost." We have sold lots of them,
and have been able in this way to lie of practical
benefit to our friends ; but we are now
more interested in something else, and hope
to be able to interest a great many other people
within the next ten days or two weeks.
The "something else" to which we refer is the
unpaid notes and accounts due the late lirm
of KIRDLK A ('A KRoLL for supplies, fertilizers,
etc. They were due "on or before"
October 15. We have been "lyiif low and
savin' notion' " for the past mouth on account
of tile low price of cotton, but as there is little
prospect of any considerable advance in
the near future, we huvcdccidcd that longer
silence is useless. It is absolutely necessary
that the business of the old lirm be settled
without further delay, and we want every
person who is indebted to us in any amount,
for anything, to settle in full by the FIFTH
DAY oF DFCFMl'.KR AT 12 O'CLOCK.
Now friends, please observe two points:
WE SAY, EVERYBODY,
and that is exactly what we mean ; and second,
that the time is limited to December 5.
Now. if Vol' owe the old lirm anything, it
is YolJ to whom wean* talking. Wo hope
it will not ho neeessary to say anything more
on this siihjoot or to Do A N vTII i N(? Fl' RTIIFK.
