Serial Halites. For Solicitor of the Sixth Circuit. Hickory Grove, S. C., Feb. 25, 1888. This being the year in which the people will be called upon to fill the different positions of trust and honor, it is not out of place to make mention of the names of some of our worthy sons who are capable and fit for places. We fe will, therefore, take the liberty of mentioning f William A. Sanders, Esq., of Chester, as one who would fib. the office of Solicitor of the Sixth Judicial Circuit with acceptability. Mr. Sanders is a self-inade man and was a gallant soldier of the Confederacy. At the early age of fifteen years he enlisted in the Confederate army. Whilst in the service he received a wound in his left arm that caused him to lose it. After peace w<is declared, being still quite young and with small means, he exerted himself to secure an education, which he accomplished, then studied law and was admitted to the Bar. From his sound judgment, honest and pure motives, he stands high in the legal profession and has the confidence of all for his undoubted fitness for the position named. Being reared on the line between the counties of York and Chester, we take the liberty o presenting his name to the public. Western York. ^ February 29 9 It Club Hakers.
