A Wonderful Southern Discovery.
In the South where Liver complaint and bilious
diseases prevail to so great an extent, there has long
been felt a need of a medicine that would act specifically
and promptly on the Liver, restoring it to
its normal functions, and at the same time be safe
from after effects, and yet so simple that it might
be used by any one. It is claimed that DR.
TUTTS VEGETABLE LIVER PILLS supplies
this want. They act directly on the Liver; their
oonstant use will not injure in the slightest degree
the most delicate constitution. Females at any
period may use them with great benefit, and realise
great relief from the distressing nausea which
they experience at certain times. These pills are
not recommended as auniversal cure-all, but simply
for diseased Liver, and those maladies which
follow a derangement of that special organ, such
as Dyspepsia, 8ick-Headache, Indigestion, Loss
of Appetite, Oostiveness, Piles, Jaundice, Sour
Stomach. Ladies' Heartburn, Chills and Fever,
Fool Breath, Restlessness at night and Flatulency.
These invaluable pills may be found in every
Drag 8toreof any note in the South and West.
r
Irritable Invalids.
Indigestion not only affects the physical health,
but the dispositions and tempers of its victims
The dyspeptic becomes, too, in a measure demoralized
by his sufferings. He A subject to fits of irritation,
8ullenness, or despair, as the case may be.
A preternatural sensitiveness, wrncn nu uiuuv.
oontrol, leads him to misconstrue the words and
acts of those around him,and his intercourse, even
with those nearest and dearest tohim, is not unfrequently
marked by exhibitions of testiness for- .
eign to his real nature. These are the mental phenomena
of the disease, for which the invalid can- (
not be justly held responsible, but they oocasion ,
much household discomfort. It is to the interest ,
of the home circle, it is essential to the family har- .
mony as well as to the rescue of the principal sufferer
from a state not far removed from incipient J
insanity, that these symptoms of mental disturbance
be promptly removed. This can only be i
done by removing their physical cause, a derange- .
raent of the functions of the stomach and its allied
visoera, the liver and the bowels. Upon these
three important organs Hostetter's Stomach Bit- ,
ters act simultaneously, producing a thorough and
salutary change in their condition. The vegetable
ingredients of which the preparation is composed
are of a renovating, regulating and alterative char- 1
acter, and the stimulant which lends activity to I
their remedial virtues is the purest and best that
can be extracted from the most wholesome of all
cereals, viz: sound rye. No dyspeptic can take
this genial restorative for a single week, without .
experiencing a notable improvement in his general
health. Not only will his bodily sufferings
abate from day to day, but his mind 'will recover
rapidly from its restlessness and irritability, and
this happy change will manifest itself in his demeanor
to all around him.
To Consumptives.

in a few weeks, by a very simple remedy, after 1
