The amount Q. to be received for the next few weeks is a subject ?> of much: speculation, and the result for a time 0j promises to have much influence on the price of p< the article. J' CORN.?There have been received about 20,000 bushels of this grain since our last report, mostly from Baltimore and Norfolk. A cargo of 5,806 1 bushels, iu bulk, from the latter point, was sold J on private terms. Does iot reason tell us that judicious stimulation is reuired. To resort to violent purgatioif in such a ase is as absurd as it would be to bleed a starving lan. Yet itis done every day. Yes, this stupid nd uuphilosophical practice is continued iu the 36th of the great /act that physical weakuess, rith all the nervous disturbances that aooompany is more certainly and rapidly relieved by Hosstter's Stomach Bitters than by any other rnediine ac present known. It is true that general deility is often attended with torpidity orlrregular;yof the bowels, and that this symptom must not e overlooked. But while the discharge of the raate matter of the system is thus expedited or egulated, its vigor must be recruited, Tne Bitters o both. They combine aperient and aritibilious ropefties, with extraordinary tonic power. Even rhue removing obstructions from the bowels, bey tone and invigorate those organs, lb rough be stomach, upon which the great vegetable speiflc acts directly, it gives a healthy and permaent impetus to every enfeebled function. Digesion is facilitated, the faltering circulation regulasd, the blood reinforced with a new acoeesion of be alimentary principle, the nerves braced, and n tha Hormant nowere of the svfttem rousea into cabby action; not spasmodically, as would be ie case if a mere stimulant were administered, ut for a continuance. It is in this way that such xtraordinary changes are wrought in the condiion of the feeble, emaciated and nervous invalids y the use of this wonderful corrective, alterative nd tonic. Let common sensedecide between snch preparation and a prostrating cathartic, enpplelented by a poisonous astringent like strychnine r quinia.
