In all the various trades, and in sewing every sort of fabric, either of cloth or leather, i I they have been fully tried and approved. Sewing j j machines of other manufacturers often fail to 1 ! work, but Singer's Machines always operate per- [ i fectly. being strong, durable and complete in con- i j trivauoe and workinnnsnip. A perfect sewing machine kept employed affords a clear profit of : I Sl.tM'O a year: but an imperfect one is a cause of : constant vexation and lo<s. The entire reliability j j of our machines is one great reason for their un- i paralleled popularity. Machines for family sewing, of a frail and del- ' icate construction, are recommended by other i ! manufacturers. Such machines are made to catch : she eye, not to perioral substantial work. The , truth is, family sewing machines ought to be stronger than any other, because they go into less I fkilful hands than whm sold to manufacturers, and are usccl for a greater variety of work. The J machines which have proved best for all other pur- [ poses must be best for family use. and they are j Singer's. The speed of our machines has lately i been doubled. No other can compare with tiicni i in quantity of work. Bg^New machines of the latest improved stylo i will be exchanged on liberal terms for old sewing j j machine! of our own make, or for operative ma- ' i chines of other manufacturers.
