Iood, and slhotihi be Fed to an animal. The animal will not keep
it., but, will keep it, in his body only until he has used its chomi
cal alliities and reiucod it to tie condition of plant food, when
he returns it to the ianuiro pilo better for plant food than when
he took it. Every ono knows that a bushel of corn would be
vori less as a fowtilizor tihan the manure of an animal fed on
a buslit-l olf corn.
II Short, to use the meal as foed is to have the use of it both
as Iee(l and Inaiuiro, while to use it as manure is to throw away
nat tryes six months work.
Our enterpriso is a now one in this Stato, but we have entire
contideiiec in its popilatrity when once tried, and that it will savo
nillions of dollairs; to our planters which are now thrown away
not. ollly inl oil, but ill the cihemical afinities which nature has so
e11e 'lly IIi slowly )eIOpared to support animal life, now wasted
ill the ground. and corni bought to )upply the deficioncy. Our
I'eterprie is also a nutual one to save the money to the planters who
make the seed, and who are invited not only to send their seed,
but, to become shareholders in the capital, which will be on
'largled ill this 1111111e) as Ohe demiand 111)011 it increases, and the
ila1rer t ie busiiiess th greatr the profit, to all concerned.
It is expected that the mill will be in operation by December
1st, and will tho1011 be abl to handle from ton to twenty tolls of
seed por day. Its customers will bo Supplied with oil meal
ill <Ium tics )I from onw thousand to two thousand pounds at
a Iiino, ald in the order im which their seed is received. Storage
for seed will be ready by October 20th.
Keep your seed lfron the weather, and give the enterprise afair trial.
The Coipauny is also prepared to oxchango Dickson's Com
pou1id and other most approved Fertilizers for cotton Food, ro
ce iviiig the seed at a valuation of oighty-five cents a hundred
