pledge to vote for and support a
bond issue, the object of which
"will be to provide general im
provements, such"'as extending
the power plant, paving the
streets, putting in a sewerage sys
tem, erecting a municipal build
ing, etc. The new hotel project
was also brought up. about $6,000
additional subscriptions were se
cured to the capital stoc.k and
those behind the project assured
the audience that the new hotel
will be a go.-" Barnwell intends
to take her place on the map.'
