settle the price of cotton re
cently.. One is due to the farm
ers themselves,who have rush
ed their cotton so rapidly to
market until they are trying to
market a whole year’s crop in
less than two months. They

buyers needed it. The result
is that the demand is less than
the supply^ and the farmer
stands to lose. The other fac
tor is one that the farmer has
so far failed , to controlT He
