The regular routine of camp life was
broken la-t week by a holiday on J.uly
4th. Tlie nrey were eicuted from all
duties except necessary fatigue duty
and were free to do ~kt they pleased.
In the training*cani|i a field meet was
held at ten o’clock a. m , each com-
pany w as allowed to enter men for each
of the contests. ^Great company spilit
and enthusiasm was manifest as en
trants from the several compvn es com
peted. Prizes were olTered by Chat

sfudehts from the training camp at Ft.
McPherson came oyer iir*a special
train and were (he guests ut the local
camp for tlie remainder of the day.
During the afternoon a game of base-
bail was played between selected teams
from the two camps. The Atlanta
bunch had on their lighting clothes
and \yaiked away with things. The
Ogle’horpe men are not crushed in
spirit, however and have determined to
even up score* at-the eh-d of camp.
