Friday atternooa he went to Augusta with friends to attend a reception at the Country Club, re turned to the city about 8 o'clock. That night he was taken desperately ill, and after * few hours lost *■eoneeioqsness* and died last Saturday afternoon. Funeral services took place this morn ing at his late residence on Laurens Street and interment was 'at Barnwell. At the altar they were joined by the groom and his best man, Mr. Colen Segars, of Ffartsville, The tfshers were Messrs, Q.. A.'
