We are sorry to learn thnt Mr Elvin
Bo sard, who was so severely burned by tho
recent fire whioh destroyed Mr. Boliver's
mill, has since died of tho injuries there
received.

appointed Treasurer of this County, has
duly qualified, and is now discharging
the duties of that office. Wc are con
fident that Mr. Humbert will give
general satisfaction. He is an indus
. frious lawyer, a successful politician
mud, better than all an honest man. He
lias onr best wisha for his continued
prosperity.
